These are the rules for using MessengerMate Pro. They are written to be readable. If anything is unclear, email hello@messengermatepro.com.
By joining the waitlist, using the website, or — once it launches — using the product, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
MessengerMate Pro ("we", "us", "the service") is an AI-powered customer-conversation assistant for businesses operating in the Philippines. It connects to your Messenger, Instagram Business, and WhatsApp Business accounts to help you respond to customers, send payment links via GCash and Maya, and track local courier deliveries.
While the product is being built, this site exists to capture your interest via the waitlist. The terms below cover both the waitlist and the future product.
2. Who can use it
You may use MessengerMate Pro if:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You operate a legitimate business
- You are responsible for the customer accounts you connect
You may not use MessengerMate Pro if:
- You are creating fake conversations, spam, or harassment
- You are using it to evade Meta's policies on Page or business verification
- You are operating in violation of Philippine law
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Send spam. Do not send unsolicited messages to people who have not opted in to hear from your business.
- Harass anyone. Do not use the AI to send threats, slurs, or abusive content.
- Misrepresent the AI as human when the customer has explicitly asked whether they are speaking to a person. Disclose AI when asked.
- Use it for fraud. No fake payment links, no impersonation, no scams.
- Interfere with the service. No reverse engineering, no abuse of rate limits, no attempts to break the system for others.
- Resell the service or expose our APIs to your customers as your own product, without written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend any account engaging in the above. We will tell you why.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of all customer messages, replies, and business data you put into MessengerMate Pro. We get a limited license to process that data only to deliver the service to you (see the Privacy Policy for details).
You are responsible for the legality of the messages your business sends, including via the AI. The AI is a tool; you are the publisher.
5. Pricing & payments (when launched)
Pricing details will be added here when the product launches. Likely model: simple per-message pricing in PHP, billed monthly via GCash, Maya, or card. We will not silently change pricing on existing customers — material price changes will be announced 30 days in advance.
The waitlist is free.
6. Account termination
You may delete your account at any time via the Data Deletion Request page or by emailing hello@messengermatepro.com. We will delete your data within 30 days, retaining only what is required by law (e.g. Philippine BIR records for 7 years).
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. We will notify you and, where reasonable, give you a chance to fix the issue.
7. Service availability
We aim for high uptime, but we do not guarantee 100%. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, third-party outages (Meta, Cloudflare, OpenAI), or unforeseen problems. We will publish status updates when material outages occur.
The service depends on Meta's APIs. If Meta changes its terms in a way that breaks our integration, we will work to restore service as quickly as possible, but we cannot guarantee a specific timeline.
8. Liability
Limitation of liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, MessengerMate Pro is provided "as is". We are not liable for:
- Lost revenue or business opportunities resulting from service outages
- Damages caused by AI-generated replies that you sent
- Issues caused by Meta's APIs, your network, or third-party tools
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. (For waitlist users: zero.)
This limitation does not apply where prohibited by Philippine law (e.g. for gross negligence or willful misconduct).
9. Disclaimers
The AI may make mistakes. It may misinterpret a message, generate an inappropriate reply, or fail to follow your training instructions. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated replies, especially for high-stakes conversations (refunds, complaints, legal questions). We provide tools to set up reviews and approval flows; use them.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do:
- We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- For material changes, we will email all active customers 30 days before the changes take effect
- Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms
If you disagree with a change, you may cancel your account before the change takes effect.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of the Philippines.
If any clause in these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
